| Belfast has been chosen as the destination for the final leg of the 2009 Atlantic Challenge Tall Ships Race. The official activities in Belfast have been organised by Belfast City Council & the Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau. |
| Having sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Canada, the ships will be berthed in Belfast Quays between Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th August 2009. |
| The Belfast area has countless attractions for the visitor. This is a big occasion and it makes sense to stick around and sample not only the magnificent spectacle of the Tall Ships, but other local attractions. Several venues are planning additional Evening Entertainment so stay on and enjoy the infamous Belfast hospitality. |
